is, our direct great-great-great-great-grandmother.
There are two branches of families of Vsevolozhskys, of different origin. Anna
Andreevna belonged to the younger, “St. Petersburg” branch.
The Vsevolozhskys of this branch are the Rurikovichs, descended from the
princes of Smolensk. Two of them distinguished themselves as military chefs
at the Kulikovo Field Battle. Their descendants served in Vladimir in the
15th–16th centuries, where they owned considerable estates. They carried out
diplomatic missions and fought to the death as commanders wherever the
Tzar sent them. Three brothers with unusual prefixes to their names —
Mercury-Vorkolap, Fedor-Ruf and Alexander-Asthadam — took part in the
Moscow siege of 1608, for which they were granted estates.
Anna Andreevna's father, Andrei Alekseevich, was a participant in the coup
of 1762, as a result of which Emperor Peter III was overthrown and his wife
Catherine II ascended the throne. He was Penza governor, burned down in his
house, defending himself from Pugachev.
Anna Andreevna's great-nephew, Pavel Alexandrovich Vsevolozhsky, founded
the city of Vsevolozhsk near St. Petersburg.

Vsevolozhskaya from the collection of the Samara Art Museum. In the 18th
century, Samara belonged to the Kazan province.
Judging by the presence of the epaulette, the portrait of Pyotr Ivanovich was
painted during his service (before his resignation)
