Klyanchino
The village of Klyanchino has been known since 1646. It is located 50
kilometers southwest of Kazan. It was the center of the Klyanchinsky volost of
the Sviyazhsky district of the Kazan province.
On the territory of the village, the remains of two pre-Mongol settlements
were found: Russkomakulovskoye and Korguzinskoye from the 9th-10th
centuries.
Apparently, this archival information about Dmitry Andreevich
Laptev was compiled after the sale of Klyanchino. It mentions the
neighboring village of Kainki and its other estates.

Dmitry Andreevich owned Klyanchino, and in 1848 he built a church here in
honor of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God. Subsequently, the village
was sold by Saltykov.
Dmitry (Dimitri) Andreevich (Adrianovich) Laptev, entered the service from the
Corps of Pages, in 1809 he was in campaigns and battles in Moldova, Wallachia,
in the battle of Borodino in 1812, in foreign campaigns of the Russian army in
1813-1814. Colonel, retired, knight of the orders of St. Vladimir, 4th class, St.
Anna, 4th and 2nd class, he has 293 serf souls and 1,764 acres of land in the
village of Laptevka, Tetyush district, in the village Bogorodsky, Sviyazhsky
district, Kazan province, 257 souls of villagers and 10 souls of courtyard
peasants, in the village of Kainki, Sviyazhsky district (next to Klyanchino)
98 souls of villagers and 12 souls of courtyard peasants, in the village of
Novoposelennaya Sosnovka, Chistopol district, 259 souls of villagers and 21
souls of courtyard peasants.
Near Moscow, Laptev owned the village of Ognikovo (now Istrinsky district).
Dmitry Andreevich was involved in the Decembrist case. According to the
testimony of A.P. Baryatinsky, when asked to join a secret society, replied that
he was already a member of a society that did nothing. The Investigative
Committee ignored this.
